About the team

CVA Technology develops CVATrader, a Counterparty Risk and Credit Valuation Adjustment system. It computes P&L and risk, provides reports and interactive tools for several categories of users and data feeds to firm wide horizontal systems: books and records, market, valuation and credit risk. CVA Technology follows an agile development methodology with a flat hierarchical structure. You will be working with other members of the team and will be expected to contribute to all stages of the software development process. It is a supportive environment where you are encouraged to propose ideas. The ideal candidate would be a fast learner who is not afraid to get out of their comfort zone.

Tasks

• Work as C+ analytical / distributed infrastructure software engineer improving pricing and market simulation models
• Learn Optimus/DAL environment and interact with CVA strategists and users

Requirements

• Top-notch C++ skills with in-depth knowledge of C++ STL/boost libraries
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language (such Perl, Python, etc)
• Strong Linux OS knowledge and shell scripting language (ksh, bash, etc)
• Familiarity with multithreading and multi-process distributed programming
• Familiarity with one of the major databases (Sybase, DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, etc)

Advantages

• Knowledge of Java / Scala is a plus
