About the role

A global company in the military industry is looking for a new employee for the position of Software Developer C++. The company's recently established headquarters in Budapest supplies mission systems and simulation solutions to military, government and commercial customers.

In the position as a Software Developer C++ (m/f/d) you have the chance to work in a high-performing team for software development and testing in support of simulation programs in land, air and maritime domains.
They are looking for the future high-performers, versed in the technology, not afraid to step into a new industry not present before in Hungary with capabilities to push this industry forward.

Tasks

• Design, develop, test and launch software components in coordination with Senior Software Engineers in C+
• Document the relevant software components
• Stay informed on existing and state of the art software engineering technologies

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience
• Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, data structures, object-oriented design and complexity analysis
• 2+ years relevant industry experience
• Good programming and design skills in at least one major object-oriented programming language (C++,C#, Java)
• Experience in modern CI/CD automation practices
• Very good English and Hungarian language skills, written and spoken
• Willingness to travel for business
