Windows Server Infrastructure Engineer

About the team

The Windows Infrastructure Engineering team provides core infrastructure services to the firm, working in agile fashion in order to meet the constantly changing and evolving business and security requirements. The team has presence in several cities across the globe including Budapest and its responsibility is based around integration and engineering of various vendor products that provides the support infrastructure for a large, global Windows environment.

  • Work in a closely aligned Operational and Engineering Windows Team and with external vendors to deliver new solutions and technologies for the bank
  • Maintain the global server infrastructure, provide operational stability by following and using the tools, policies, processes and procedures available
  • Design and Development of solutions across the Windows Infrastructure space focused around Active Directory, Windows Server and Security
  • Investigate & Troubleshoot incidents as part of a rotational squad
  • Integrate new products with the latest IT security guidelines


  • Proficient at Active Directory and infrastructure components: DNS, Group Policies, Kerberos
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019
  • Good understanding of security practices and technologies
  • PowerShell scripting focused on automation in the Windows Infrastructure space
  • Documentation skills (writing operational run books, high level design through to build and implementation documents)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows security and auditing


  • Experience utilizing newer AD features such as recycle bin, fine-grained password policies, group managed service accounts and RODCs
  • Experience using LDIFD
  • Experience with Office 365 solutions and AD domain migration project
  • Experience with Quest Change Auditor for AD, Active Roles Server or Recovery Manager for Active Directory
  • Experience working with performance monitoring tools, such as SCOM or Splunk
