About the project

It is super hard to navigate the world of financial institutions, and this is where they help. They listen to their customers, assess their needs and recommend a solution on where to invest, based on their preferences.

You will get an opportunity to learn from experts (team members are former BCG, Morgan Stanley, MOL, Magyar Telekom, Isobar employees), work in a cool startup environment (coworking space, Hackathon, remote work). They are in the midst of the Hungarian fintech buzz (Best Fintech Startup in 2019) and a member of the CEU iLab where you can also build a connection with CEU faculty members and other fast-growing startups.

Tasks

• Work closely with the business team in order to manage expectations, shape and guide their ideas to ensure deliverable features within the time and resource constraints. Help in the planning and development of such features.
• Be responsible for the frontend technology stack. Maintain and plan improvements which support business goals in the long-term. Help build development standards and conventions to make sure code quality improvements are continuous. Review code to verify it meets expectations.
• Occasionally be able to mentor other team members

Ideal candidate

• Has experience with TypeScript/JavaScript
• Has experience with REST API, Tailwind CSS
• Has knowledge of frontend build tools, CI/CD
• Has precise, thoughtful personality and critical thinking
• Has strong customer focus and is committed to delivering the right results for the customer
• Nice to have: Basic SEO understanding - writing efficient and valid code, server-side rendering knowledge, basic knowledge of PHP/Laravel Framework (used for our backend code), experience with frontend build tools, like Webpack, Vite

Requirements

• Has minimum 4 years of web development experience
• Has 2+ years of in-depth experience with a JS framework (React, Vue, Svelte), React is strongly preferred (You will work with React.)
• Nice to have: experience with Figma design and in a startup
