About the role

You are the ideal Broker Research Analyst if you want to make the brokerage industry more transparent. What will you do? Analyze investment platforms (such as fee structure, order execution, charting tools, etc.) and write reviews as well as educational articles based on the insights. Follow developments in financial markets and collaborate with journalists from global media outlets such as the Financial Times and Bloomberg, by sharing your research/insights about brokerage industry trends. Your work will play a crucial role in saving people from scam brokers and help them invest with safe and reliable service providers.

Tasks

• Testing investment platforms like a real user (e.g. calculating fees or testing trading tools)
• Building broker scoring methodology
• Writing financial content
• Educating people about trading or investing
• Protecting users from scam brokers
• Creating analysis for journalist and the industry
• You will learn to use many tools to deepen your knowledge (i.e. Python for data analysis, Ahrefs and GSC for SEO, etc.)

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in the investment management, brokerage or related industry
• Confident use of Excel
• Has analytical mindset
• Has established knowledge about economy & finance
• Has experience with capital markets
• Is able to work independently and represent professional interests in an all-staff meeting
• Is able to come up with fresh content ideass - based on expert knowledge
• Is accurate and a creative problem solver

Nice to have

• CFA designation or ongoing studies
• AI tools are a plus (ChatGPT or any other)
• Data analysis tools are a plus (SQL, Python)
• SEO tools are a plus (Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics)
